supRo
Do both the red tailgate lights on each side come on when you switch the headlights on or is it only the outer red rear light? I have a fault on mines. My car is a early J-spec TT Thanks, Ro
michael
On a standard UK you get one each side, on a standard J-Spec you get two... once you factor in foglight mods anything is possible What do you get when you brake or put the rear fog on? All the red lights work as brake lights too. Cheers, Ro
RobSheffield
Did you do the foglight mod dude? I had similar issues when i had mine done....trace the wires for the foglight conversion and ensure they go to the right 'pair' of brakelight bulbs... Thanks Rob, Yes, both the inners were converted to fog lights and have been fine for about two years. I did have the trial bumper fitted recently but the wiring/bulb holders are still in the right position!

From when i fitted my trial rear, i dont think there is any way it could have been moved. Is it perhaps more possible that the bulb holders were slotted into the lamps in the 'wrong order'? Although im not sure they could go in wrong...

Although im not sure they could go in wrong... I took the drivers side tail light out and it looks like you don't need to disturb any of the wiring to replace the bumper. I have followed the wiring and they go to the correct bulbholder. I could re-wire so that it's symmetrical with the other side and then only the fog lights will not be symmetrical Thanks
