Bob
In my instructins for the E01, it shows that a small 'orifice' needs to be inserted into the tee-piece for the pressure sensor - I haven't got this piece and can't find anywhere that does something similar. Will the readings be out if I don't use this, i.e. just use a normal T-piece? If so, does anyone know where I can get such a thing? Cheers

bondango
Anyone? Use a normal T but in the line to the sensor slide in a 0.8mm Mig welding tip. The T usually has a 0.8mm or thereabouts restrictor in it. Dont know why, but i had to do the same with a Greddy Additional injector controller some years ago. dont know why the restriction is needed though. Kranz
Dont know why, but i had to do the same with a Greddy Additional injector controller some years ago. dont know why the restriction is needed though. Its needed to damp out any pulsations in the system before the sensor so that the sensor 'sees' a steady pressure. Usually needed for boost guages too (except for fluid filled guages). Bob
Its needed to damp out any pulsations in the system before the sensor so that the sensor 'sees' a steady pressure. Usually needed for boost guages too (except for fluid filled guages). So theoretically, if we tee'd off the already present damper on the inlet manifold (ref Ian C's recent post) we shouldn't need one?
