Am in need of bushes for my anti-roll bars and don't know how to replace them. Have tried a search and come up with nothing

. Has anyone done this before, where are they located, is it easy and I have heard for the back I need to drop the diff out, is this true?? Thanks

I did the rear ARB bushes last month and it was one of the easier jobs mate.

Jack up the rear with axle stands, disconnect both drop links then work on one bush at a time removing the two bolts. The clamp should pull away and the roll bar will drop a little allowing the bush to pull off the bar.

BTW mine is a 93 with 70odd k on the clock and both bushes were split down the middle and had seen better days.:)

Did you replace them with oem ones mate, how much of a difference did they make?

Were the replacements a good price, do we know what type of aftermarket ones are available or whats the best rated or if it makes a differance?

I got mine from MR T and they are dirt cheap at £4.60each + VAT.

T48818-14050 (I think there are differences between models just to beware)

I changed my rear droplinks and swapped over my shocks at the same time as I was knock hunting. I cant tell the difference really but I've not had the car out much either.

Changed all four on my 94 Jspec, fronts were bad, both split and the bar channel was an oval shape  Backs were not that bad.

I was amased at the difference on control in the corners, lot solider feeling when weight is transfered.

Fairly easy job, back was a bit more difficult due to location but not a biggie

Did the wife's rear ARB on her scooby this weekend - the bushes are normally split so you just pull them open and pop them around the bar.
