Conrad
Erm as title really. I have a video clip that I recorded on my digital camera. There's a shot in that clip that I want as a photo. Is there anyway to grab a frame from the video and use it a photo/jpeg? I believe the video format is mpeg4....

JustGav
A free program like vdub maybe able to do it.. Use to convert it to avi http://mp4cam2avi.sourceforge.net/ and then use virtualdub to screengrab. The other option which MIGHT work is to hit printscreen and then paste it into paint or something like that. Not sure if a screengrab would include the video buffer though. far
if you run the vid through 'power dvd' there is a capture button on the control panel - its in the shape of a camera, I fould prt scrn makes the image a bit more fuzzy
Ewen
Depending on the make and model, its possible your camera can do this if it can also take still pictures on a card, if it can it would be in the instructions.... Mine does it like this. Put camera in card mode. Put camera playback into VCR mode, play back the part of the tape you want to take the still from then take a picture. Long shot, but yours may be similar.?

What Far suggested seems like a good option as my screen print isn't best as you can see from the pic below! :d Cool shot too btw Jamie...
