Getrag
I replaced my old rear Teins for brand spanking new Tein SS's (thanks ENVY). We didnt do the fronts as it looks like a bit of a complicated job and will need the front drop links incase they break too. However, went for a little run with the new rears and what a difference! The knock is gone, so bloody happy about that. The rear is also a lot more settled and behaved. Cant wait to get the fronts done and the geometry set up correctly. Its amazing how much difference the drive is with no knocks. Im not annoyed at every little pothole now. BTW, if you have a set of new front drop links with their bolts, Ill have them please: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1198984#post1198984
Tricky-Ricky
Thers no need to touch the front drop links when fitting new shocks if you jack it up so as both wheels are off the ground;)
Getrag
I know dude but I've read a couple of threads saying that you need to take them off (Chris Wilson). Also, you need to remove the top wishbone and a couple of other bits which I'm not up to. Finally, its a good idea to replace them when the coilovers are getting done anyway.
