chilli
Hi, well santa (the other half) bought me an ipod video for christmas. Very impressed with it, nice bit of kit. Anyway I've got a few music videos and podcasts on there already, but if I wanted to convert some existing wma, avi, mpg files for it or even maybe rip a dvd, what is the best software to do it? anyone recommend some (preferably free/open source) tool that can convert most formats to ipod compatible mp4? thanks
Thorin
I use DVD Decrypter for ripping DVD's and MeGUI (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=156112) to convert them to MP4. I've not used them but know it has profile settings to create iPod/PSP compatible vids.
