TrickTT
I think us spec horsepowers must smaller than ours, cos there is no way you'll get 460 good old fashioned british bhp with that kit.
NUTKIN
With this bpu kit im surprised to see no intercooler there or recomended cause i thought if you raise the power/boost the intercooler really should be upgraded an would it be best if you changed the injectors to uprated ones
Nic
With this bpu kit im surprised to see no intercooler there or recomended cause i thought if you raise the power/boost the intercooler really should be upgraded an would it be best if you changed the injectors to uprated ones The US Supra has bigger injectors (550cc) compared to the J-spec. The 440cc j-spec injectors get close to their limits, at around the max power the j-spec turbos can make. The stock side mounted intercooler is well designed, has quality core and is properly ducted, so can cope with raised boost, provided it is in good condition. If it is 12 years old coroded and crumbling, then I would definitely replace the IC before upping the boost, either for a new stock SMIC or aftermarket FMIC.
