Daston
Ok guys this has been bugging me for ages and I am now at the end of the line. I have a squeaky clutch every time I press the pedal down it squeaks and when it lifts up it squeaks as if it needs oiling or something (like an old gate/door) however my first car used to do this as well as my MR2 that I had after that. I have tested my leg and that dosnt squeak so its not me. Any ideas?
Rob
As previous thread, clutch release arm. Spray some grease into the little booty under the car.

Ian C
Oh so it's not the pedal spring then I get this as well, I think the RPS pressure plate doesn't help either as the forces involved are increased. Are you saying it's a bit outside the car that needs oiling? Which bit exactly (yeah I don't know ) -Ian
Rob
Where the left pedal lever stick thing enters the side of the noisy gear tube box. There's a rubber boot with two rectangular holes in it, facing the backwards end of the big silver fast man. Spray some slidey grease in there and it stops squeaking You have to go in from the left hand side under the big silver fast man, using a wheely lever lifter.
