rik
My nephew is after a pc package for gaming and other general kid stuff (14 yrs). He's asking where he should get one from, and i didn't really want to send him straight to the likes of PC world or whatever. Can anyone recomend an online supplier, or anyone that is generally good to buy from? Also could do with some advice on what model/package is good. He's got £400-£450 to spend. JustGav
I believe a few guys here do PC assembly and sales, not sure if it is against the rules to ask them?
GeordieSteve
I just bought an XCCube last week and couldn't recommend high enough! Cost me £200 all in with a 3.0 P4, gig of ram and a 160gb SATA drive. I can use it when it's turned off as a tv, DVD player and radio and can do cool stuff like pause live TV. Fantastic bargain! Sheefa
Rik, I've built 4 IIRC so far from scratch. Save yourself a packet and go down the custom route. If you want I'm more than happy to build you one with OS and all necessary software loaded free of charge. I'm a little far away, but the offer is there buddy More of a hobby of mine so happy to do it. Want me to put together a rough rundown of parts and spec build? Here's one I did 2 months ago bearing in mind the parts were part of a weekly offer from overclockers.co.uk. Let me know via PM. Cheers, Greg
