All my points were amassed on bikes,(15 in total),none in built up areas, none in dangerous circumstances. Also had ban for 15 months for Drink Drive(F***in stupid of me). They may as well cut your balls off-most emasculating thing ever!So hope you avoid a ban. 112 on a motorway should be compulsory especially in the cars today, better brakes, handling etc. 70 is daft!

RANT RANT RANT. Fuck em all!!!

Honestly we(the idiotic motorists)want to stay legal,we pay for an mot,for huge insurance, road tax and outrageous petrol prices, then we pay FINES for driving safely(just a bit faster than the signs say),then higher insurance etc etc. Oh and the campaign-"SPEED KILLS" is bollox-CRASHES KILL!

Wankers the lot of them.

ok im done.

Dude get yourself a good brief - they will do wonders for you and you r license, also some good points made earlier about work, try and get proof that the vehicle is needed as part of you work and you would suffer financially without the use of your license.

But best thing to do is pay the extra and get a good lawyer who specialises in this stuff - well worth it IMO.

Also have a GOOD read on http://www.pepipoo.com - lots of very good info on here:thumbs:

Chin up - I know it will be in the back of your mind until it is resolved but remember to put it in perspective, theres people out there who have done a lot worse i.e. killed, severley injured, lost control and hurt family members, hurt thereselves, written off there cars etc etc.... I know its a weird way of looking at it but in the bigger picture it should be a small spec in your driving career and fingers crossed you will get away with a large fine and 6 points

Oh and get yourself a jammer !

Edited to add : my brov in Law is a solicitor for a top london law firm,he doesnt deal with this kinda thing but should be able to put you in touch with a very good brief who will tailor the case suited to your personal circumstances.Lemme know if you need any further advice or details,if its general info you are after about the circumstances Im sure I will be able to get your questiond sorted. I know what you are going through but dont let it play on your mind all the time.Just stay positive but also realistic !

thanks for advice and suggestions , is always appreciated.

Unfortuantly all this has done is bring forward a decision that I was going to have to make at the end of the summer anyway.

So in the next week or so I will be putting the soop up for sale, it will be at bargain price.....so if anyone is after a low mileage Black TT then either pm me or keep your eyes peeled

Bastard, I got £150 and 6 points for 68 in a 40........I would have taken £20 more on the fine and no points any day....... :p And you was going 14mph more ........ :(

Just shows the judgements for speeding is totally random and dependant on the mood of the three ever so wise men sitting in front of you

I'm lucky only have the 3 points shuold be 6, but did the oh i'm not signing that form trick back in April last year and haven't heard anything since (nice).:)

Off the top of my head there is a few things you could do when you receive the summons:

A) ask what type of device you where detected with

B) ask whether they have a calibration certificate for the day you were caught (quite often they don't)

C) Never admit at the scene that you were doing the speed you were

D) It also helps if you're not in the outside lane and that you were mearly keeping up with the flow of traffic
