bungy
After reading lots on the site I purchased some tailgate bump rubbers to cure the mind infuriating squeaking. As predicted the screws were a nightmare and well and truly loctited in. Got both of them out and job done. Thanks for the advice. Feeling flush with success I then drained the engine oil and spent the next 1 and 3/4 hrs trying to change the oil filter. There must be a trick to it. Need a lie down. squiffy
Need a lie down. thats the answer! get under the thing and reach in from the back of the engine bay, then get ready for the remaining oil to run out and splatter everywhere:rolleyes: whoever decided to put the filter there needs a good slap! bungy
Yep pretty much as I thought. Didn't see any way to stop the oil dripping everywhere and got two bruised forearms for my efforts. Are the relocation kits any good and where do I get mine?
dangerous brain
Most of the traders but I am sure my good pal PaulE over at miamigt will have one. Tell him I sent ya Oh and yes they make changing the oil filter a doddle and also allow the fitment of oil pressure and temperature probes.
