Havard
Any of you guys know where to get a good deal or anyone in that kind of business!! I don't want to haggle in Currys..! I'm after a decent make with wall bracket for my living room. We've got a perfectly good telly but had our new sofa's delivered yesterday and they're a bit bigger than I thought. Now found the solution. Put the TV on the wall. Help H.
Wez
Find a high street store that has it in stock and price match to John Lewis if they sell it. Check out http://www.avforums.com for more information.

What make have you gone for. I've had a lot of disasters with tv's. Got a Toshiba at the mo and that is brill although its 16 years old i reckon but never let us down. Had a Mitsubishi before that and it was shite.!! H.

Havard
Get a plasma. LCD is poop. I thought plasma's were "high maintenance" and they'll need re-gassing after a while. Thats why I'm after an LCD. Why are they "poop?" H.

I don't know if that's so true anymore - although I think you can still suffer screen burn. I bought LCD, my mate bought plasma. I'll tell you in a year or two who got the right one - although I think his picture quality is better than mine.

But from what you said I'll hang on a year and them send you a PM for a report!! This is all getting a bit confusing. Finding a telly is nearly as hard as getting a decent aerotop for under 6K. H. scooby_doo_do
Check this place - they have some "real" cheap deals. If you find a TV you like - then look under vouchers for more discount codes. http://www.hotukdeals.com

Kieran
Is that a wind up? I'll check it anyway! No, really! I saved 150 notes when I got mine from Dixons because they do internet only prices which are way cheaper than in the shop, and then stick a code in from here and you save another 50 or so. dangerous brain
Try makro's. I got a 30 inch LG a year ago when they were retailing at 1100 or more for about 700.
Havard
Just a little update on my quest!! I am now the proud owner of a 37" Panasonic Plasma with 5 year gaurantee, freeview and wall bracket for a bargain price of £955.00!! I've been looking for a 32" but was persuaded by a guy at Sound & Vision in Farnworth, Bolton, to go for the bigger set even though my living room is the size of a phone box!!!. I looked on the internet and nobody could get anywhere near this deal!! Love a bargain me!! H.

Havard
Funny I thought you wanted an LCD telly I'm easily swayed. The bloke has convinced me that the Plasma is the better option as the picture quality is that little bit better. He says all the myths about re-gassing are bollocks.! Got a 5 year gaurantee - bit of piece of mind aswell. H.
