garetheves
Was supposed to go and see Evanescence at Machester Apollo last night but they cancelled at the last minute due to a family emergency and was supposed to go and see Bullet For My Valentine at the same venue tonight but they have cancelled because the singer has Laryngitis. Bummer, was really looking forward to both of them as well. Ah well bring on Maiden and Trivium in December
Havard
Sounds like they knew you were coming Gaz!! Have you got any Staind. Got "14 shades of grey" yesterday. Absolutely fantastic - if you like that sort of thing. H.
garetheves
Yup got 2 albums and went to see them many years ago. I like them a lot although ive not listened to them for a while. The best song is still "Outside" with Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit.
JamesG
Sorry to hear that! Guess it's always possible it will be cancelled at the last minute. I saw Christina Aguilera on Friday night and she was fantastic. Maybe this pic will cheer you up http://www.compsoc.man.ac.uk/~jamesg/misc/xtina.jpg

It won't make you feel better - but they are very good on stage. Her voice is amazing live. I'm going to watch the website carefully - if they re-schedule I want tickets. They are going back to Canada in the new year, and I'm seriously considering a few days holiday there.....
Havard
Watched Evanescence in Sheffield a couple of years ago. They were shit hot, but a little short. They were only on stage for about 55 mins. They were supported by Seether, on the strength of what I heard I've now got both their albums and they are both marvelous. Nevermind Gaz they will re-schedule or you could always get a refund. H.

Not really long enough in my opinion.

Amy Lee is wonderful though, makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Like I said in my post to Gaz, really got into Staind lately. My mate who's in a band told me 4 years ago that it doesn't get any better than Staind. Wish i'd have took his word for it sooner!! If you like heavy ballads like I do, you will like them. H.
