I Need A Bike

Winter's allways the best time to get bikes. £1600?, must be quite an old one for that. Still 120 odd bhp to play with none the less

There's some cheap ex track bikes floating around if you're not so fussed how it looks.

I've had Gixers (2) although it was a few years ago, and a Blade.

The R1 was good - clutchless wheelie in 2nd @ 80mph. The GSXRs (both 750s) were nice. But I think the Blade was probably the best of the lot - the build quality was leagues ahead of the R1.

My boss went out yesterday to pick up a 98 GSXR600 in Cornona colours, and when he popped out at lunch time the noise :( I MUST GET A NBIKE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Then went on EBAY and found a Fireblade finishing soon for like £1600. I guess it's the right time to start buying them now.

Leon has a 900 Fireblade in the back yard under a cover that i have now sorned because he does not use it, the novelty will wear off and it will end up collecting dust

Hmmm, I too have pondered the idea, but I much prefer the CBR600, so that is my summer amibition... 1 x 1998 CBR600F

I've looked at these too and also like the CBR600F and may well consider one of these. I think it's just going to be a case of the best deal at the time. I've got a CBR1000f sat in the garage but it's huge and heavy
