tbourner
What are the different 200SX and Silvias? Are they the same car or is one an import? Which is this S15: http://www.xspeed.com.au/imagess/secret/nissan/97/2.jpg Cos the normal SXs I see have the usual rear lights not those style ones! Is that an S15 trait or a foreign version? Gaz6002
S15 is the latest model, also known as the Silvia. IIRC the s14 was classed as a Silvia in Japan but not here. I bet i'm wrong about that though

Alex
The S14a was the last type sold here. The 200SX is an S13/S14/S14a/S15 which is the Syilvia The S15 in your picture was the latest incarnation...and the best looking IMO.

martin_a
Sure they were all Silvia in Japan weren't they? Grand Turismo says so so it must be true The engine was used in a few cars though including the Pulsar. Quite easy to tune but apparently S15 is easiest to get big power out of as it is quite restricted in standard form. Not common though. S14s and 13s seem to be the ones for drifting. m. supRo
S15 Silvia has same engine as S14 I think. My mate had a Silvia and bought it down to the Bovingdon meet. Didn't do very well against the Supras but he had a big boost leak, lol! Contact 'Hadyn' on here as he knows about them. Ro

Tricky-Ricky
Yeah S15 has SR20DET motor same as S14/S14A, the turbo on the S15 is slightly different BB, makes a little more power, the S15 is supposed to be slightly better handling also. Cable
S15's are great! From what I've hear the S15 engine can handle a little more power than the S14's without changing any internals. I'd like to see some proper S13 Silvias over hear which look very different to the S13 180SX/200SX of that era as they have a completely different front end without pop up headlights and the back end is different too. Has anybody ever heard of a S13 Sileighty over hear too? Neil
Tricky-Ricky
Already been said pop over to the http://www.sxoc.co.uk/ if you want more info, and yes there are 180sx and sileightys over here;) Thought i might as well chuck in a pic of my old S14 335BHP great fun;) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid199/p872bc7dc5cacd46f3d341c37c81b45c8/f0a7d84b.jpg

RedM
I want one of these. S14a or S15 I'm not fussed. If I ever get a decent salary I'm having one as my daily driver.
