I dont know about that Toyota only got 225bhp out of a straight six. Now give it to TVR and your laughing they got 808bhp out of a 7.7l V12 thats pretty good bph per liter.

...and the longest time/miles that thing has gone without yet another full stripdown is.... I don't see how they got 800bhp from 7.7 litres when they can't even get 350bhp from 4 litres, and they still go pop.

The yanks ain't into specific output- they have no need- petrol is cheap, servicing is fuck all (major services for a LS6 is every 100k- compared to every 6k for the TVR, or 18k for a 911C2). Change the oil & filter every ten k, congrates your car has been serviced for $25.

Add to the mix yankee litigation claims and only a fool would sell a 120bhp/litre car to the Americans.

I do, don't take it wrong, I'm glad every time a Supra whups another car especially when it's something special (can't wait for 'Veyron' to appear in the chronicles! :D ), but I wish people wouldn't put so much emphasis on the car's performance, most of it is driver related.

Fair point and I definitely agree with what your saying!

Hmmm Veyron...lol...I guess you'd have to have a go just to see!! Although some road going Supras have been taken sub 2 seconds on 0-60 time! So it wouldn't be impossible to shock the driver of one!!
