Obviously I'll need gaskets, but does anyone know what ones, how many?... where to get them from and most importantly... how much?? thanks in advance! Bob Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 If it's 2 decat pipes you're going for (usual, unless you have a UK spec iirc) then you'll want 2 gaskets. The 1st cat seals to the downpipe with a copper ring-type gasket (I just used a bit of Firegum from Halfords to make sure it was sealed). As mentioned it's best to get rid of it; my 1st decat is 3" so the ring was barely big enough to create any decent kind of seal.
