Voo51
hey, can ask a few questions about front bumper removal if im sure someone knows! how do i get the clips out along the top of the bumper between the headlamps, under the rubber bit? they had screw shape holes in, iv tryed screwing(theclips out that is!) but no luck, tryed pulling, but no luck and tryed pushing the middle down, but no release-now my fingers hurt! also, once the headlamp bolt and two buts are out will they just pull out as mine wont, they are loose but wont actually come out! And...... the three clips at the bottom of the intercooler hole for my active front spoiler- two have come out , but the one in the middle that connect to my under tray has a bolt on the other end of it, iv tryed to get it off but its the tightest damn bolt in the universe! any suggestions(apart from get a man round, which im trying to do!)?! grrrr!! Thanks Vicki:rolleyes:

Ian C
Replied to your PM If that PM involved how to sort this, can you post the details up here as well please? If it was regarding a large order of Rabbits then don't worry about it -Ian
Voo51
''You dont "need" to take your headlights out but it does help a bit. The 5 screws on top of the bumper you will need a phillips and a flat head screwdriver. Unscrew them part way then pull out the centre section with your fingers, then use the flat head to flip to outer section out'' great advice- worked a treat!, thank you Garetheves LOL, i have got Bob round to help me with his tools and strength- thankyou so much Bob!!! I have an evening of detaching the spolier and putting the bumper back on now!!!
Matt Harwood
The upper plastic screws are simply screws going into a kind of Rawl plug thing. But if you put too much pressure on the screwdriver whilst trying to remove them, they'll just spin. (whoever invented plastic screws!). Easiest way to get them out without damaging the heads, is to get something small and thin and gently lift the screw as you're turning it with a screwdriver. Something like a Stanley knife blade should do. A bit of lube won't hurt either. The lower clips are a similar kind Rawl plug design, but instead of the screw head, they have a protruding head that just needs lifting up, then the whole plug can be removed.
