AdzC
Just checked my main beam flash today and noticed that the dipped lights and full beam bulbs flash together. Is this right as I haven't noticed it before?
jamesmark
My ones do, I only noticed this when I fitted my HID lights.

AdzC
Thanks. Just considering a HID upgrade and wondered if the bulbs were able to flash like this. I take it you don't have any problems with it.
ChrisSZ
I don't think HID bulbs will flash (unless you get the very expensive ones possibly) as they take a few seconds to warm up
AdzC
Just wondering how people who have done the HID conversion go on then if this is normal operation on the Supra

Guest JK888
As with Jamesmark I'd only noticed this when I had HID's fitted and also from my previous experience with a Celica GT. In reply to ChrisSZ, when I flash my main-beam (with HID installation) dip-beams also flash (no delay) although if from cold, they do initially give a really bright burst of light before they fade for a few secs, as they warm-up! Hope this help.
Nic
Most members who have upgraded to HID bulbs only do the dipped beam. The kits are very simple to install. If you fit an HID kit to the high beam, you will get a slight delay when you flash. Also expect the HID kit's life expectancy to be significantly reduced, by the constant on off operation of the high beam.
