Hid Xenon Conversion Lights

it's not so much a conversion as they are just plug in units.

the bulbs will just fit in place of the old ones and the ballast gets it's power from the plug that would've plugged directly into the old bulb (if that makes sense?)

i'm not sure about colours though, i have the 8000k ones and they give out a bright white with a hint of blue

hope that helps

the lower ones are brighter and give out more light, however they tend to be more whiter than blue.

if you want that blue look and arent that worried about the brightness / more light then go for the higher K number, 8000K being a popular choice.

:yeahthat:, apart from I really wouldn't go for 8000k unless you're looking for attention. IMO 6500k is as blue as you would want to go without looking too chavved up.

The futher above 4200k (on the kelvin scale) you go the less light your HIDs are making.

4200k,4300k or 4500k are about the optimum for actual light output. Anything above that are just for their boy-racer looks.

HIDs that appear blue or purple are making less real light than the 4x00k ones that Lexus/BMW/Mercedes etc fit to their current production models.
