My new TV

Recommended Posts

Well, got my new Panasonic 42PX60B today.

After the quick and easy setup I tried out a few TV channels & DVD's and first impressions........well, lets just say a big smile on my face the whole time.

I am truely impressed with the picture quality, I tried several films like Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift, StarWars-Episode 3 & Titanic and every one of them looked absolutely superb.

I was a little sceptical to start with as I own a Philips Pixel plus CRT TV(32") which had an amazing picture and I worried that the new Plasma may not live up to it.

I can confirm that it does indeed live up and exceed the picture of my old TV.

I can fully recommend this plasma and as the picture will probably improve further as the unit runs in, I just cant speak highly enough...

Heres a few pics of the moment of unwrapping......yes, I know I'm sad.....:p

Nice how much wonga are we talking, the quality looks superb!

I bought mine from Apollo2000 and paid about £1500 but they can be had for less online.

I watch very little TV as was mentioned, there is little any good on.

Mostly I watch DVD's and the new picture is stunning on everything I have put in so far.

The detail on everything is extremely high even in very dark pictures like Lord of the Rings etc.

I,m seeing things I never did before due to the enhanced detail.

I did about a month's research on every model of Plasma/LCD out there before making my choice and I know I made the right one.

Anyone thinking of upgrading and not wanting to pay £2000-£2500 on Pioneer or Fugitsu, this is the model for you.

Frankly, I think the picture is as good if not better than these more expensive models.
