Supraguy
On the TX2K3 video, there was an auto PHR stage1 that made ~580rwhp on a rolling road. FMIC, no nos, no idea on cams or boost though.
Guest Terry S
The thing is they all measure differently. we need to set a standard. Maybe it should be Pete's as he has helped the UK MKIV community loads. Problem is I know it reads higher than G force.
Supraguy
498hp at the hubs @ 1.3bar. Through stock auto tranny and TC (unlocked).
Alex
Nice result Post up the dyno sheets when you can. When does it hit full boost? What's the AFR? What were your EGT's like? How long did it take Pete to map it? (was it all down to just a SAFC and the Blitz Access ECU?)
Supraguy
Leon spent the day there, so no idea how long was spent on mine. AFRs are great.. Leon is just working on a rich spot at about 4k rpm. AFC was having problems leaning it, but all the other points after adjustment seemed spot on. Hes going through checking sensors, etc to make sure all is good. I will get dyno sheets as they are available to me. (I spent the day at work)
Alex
OIC so Leon uses the Thor dyno...when you said it was going to THOR figured they were mapping it.

Did you see this thread debating conversionS? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14480&perpage=15&highlight=thor%20dyno%20conversion&pagenumber=2 Not that it reached any firm conclusions, but there are one or two ideas on there (mostly for 6 speeds unfortunately) Regards, Cliff
dude
J , so what Turbo / injectors are you running dude ???? and i see you wimped out and went for the girls Hi-stall , im thinking of changing as well, to the 4500 rpm one !!! Supraguy
Was advised by many to stick with the 3200 stall, including Leon + Terry. I'm into positive boost by 2000rpm and at full by 3600. Higher really isnt necesary and only makes for more heat in the tranny. I am going for more of a responsive street car vs a drag car. All down to personal preferences! Turbo is a GT60 series. The Turbo system was based around the stock fuel system. I have Walbro pump, FSE, pulsation dampner bypass, and 550cc injectors. I will most likely move up to the Seimans 680 with a new rail and fuel line before pushing 1.9 bar.
dude
Nice one J but your gonna be sick when you go in mine with the converter lock on it !!!! hope were gonna see it at the POD soon and ,maybe TOTB !!!!, dont listen to Tel, on autos hes a stick man he thinks a Hi-stall is making excuses to the Tax man whilst moutain climbing still you can have the stall changed once FOC so i bet you do !!!! Guest Terry S
Hey thought I recommended a 3.8k stall!!!!
Syed Shah
Nic, As everyone says, get a small single, it will make full boost before the stockers with more power as well. It also saves around 30kg, and of course is more reliable than the rather complex stock setup. When mapped properly, it will be a alot of hassle-free fun! Also, don't worry about the engine, small turbo upgrades are fine for the 2JZ internals.
Nic
Thanks Syed, it sound as though it could be worth doing. I'm going to have a chat with my tuners about it and see what they recommend.
Guest Terry S
Syed, BL do kits for the soarer btw;)
Syed Shah
N/P Nic. Between your tuners and the help on here from Terry etc, you'll be on the way to a killer street car. Terry, the US Soarer has the same engine as the NA Supra, not the JDM Soarer, and don't tempt me!

If not, then i have a Brand new, unboxed PHR Stage 1 (Same as SUPRAGUY) with some new 800CC injectors up for grabs, run into some major financial issues: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=39280 Cheers G
