Went to the BSB round at Brands today having attended a few BSB races in the past. Some excellent racing all round and in the Superstock class. Now ive more or less grown up around motorsport, karting,GT,F3,F1 etc...but today was the first time i experienced the sound and speed of a gp bike riden by John Hopkins on the Suzuki.....OMFG!! Was absolutely spine tingling....Not for many many years has anything made the hairs on me stand up....It sounded Insane!!!! Damn, never ever thought a bike could sound like that and to be honest a whole lot louder and sweeter sounding than the current crop of V8 F1 cars...

what an experience!! Just thought id share that with some of you ;)

Watched this on TV this afternoon, those guys have balls like water melons racing in that weather!

Ditto. Now i love my cars and this isnt a car/bike slating thread like all the others overthe past few days but those guys have amazing control, especially in the wet...even the young 125 lads were awe inspiring...but i tell you what Bobbeh...i can still here that motogp bike ringing in my ears :D

Hehe I bet its an amazing sight and sound, brands is a superb little track, my next track day me thinks ;)

yep, because of the cambers and gradients you can at some points see over half the track which is amazing as you probably know when you saw the British GT round there on the full gp circuit. Will definetely do a track day there once my car is ready.
