Lambo
Hello all! I need suggestions for a car. Must cost less than £3000, have four seats, air con and be "nippy" (lets say 0-100mph in around 20 secs) . My best guess is a 306 GTi. Any other suggestions out there? Unfortunately a NA supe is not an option Cheers, Mark
michael
Import Integra Type-R? Good MPG when you resist V-TEC, rear seats are OK as long as passengers aren't tall, has air-con, nippy and handle better than most things out there. £3000 might be pushing it a little but you never know.... RobSoarer2.5TT
Civic you can't go wrong with a Honda for a run about. The VTI is suprisingly nippy with 160 bhp out of 1.

Lambo
I hadn't thought about one of the older civics..... I'll have to do some research on hondarevolutions.com. I did have a look at Integras and Soarers but they are a bit too pricey to run for a runabout. Thanks for the help guys! Mark

Mark 3K should get you an N or P reg VTi (1.6 DOHC) or maybe a mint SR (1.6 SOHC), both have Vtec and go well, & return pretty got mpg when driven like ms Daisy but are still fun when given 7000 revs

Guest mk47
VW passat, audi a4. both great mpg, we have 5 passats now and theyre all good on petrol and i think the fastest one is 160bhp quite quick too. youd probably get a decent one for around 3k although for a newer one with all the chrome etc they tend to be 5k +
dangerous brain
Why not a TT aristo? With BPU would stay up there with a TT supe.
