My current insurer won't cover me on it until i turn 25, and i'm stuck with them until renewal time. It's not too bad though as at least the worst of the ice/snow might be out of the way by then. Argh right i see puts you in a hard situation, i always try and change cars after renewal as they can be a pain like this especially with modded cars! I'd like to be able to do that but ive had 4 modded jap cars this year alone, after selling my first MR2 turbo, nothing else felt 'right' if you know what i mean, so i kept changing. Until i got my n/a supra, which felt great, just a little slow. That's where the TT fits in pefectly! Grrr! the more i talk about it, the more i want it here now!
