FTO Bumper??? Help......

Hello people,

 

Does anyone know the part number for a genuine replacment front bumber for a FTO version R Aero??

We are going to get it froma a main dealer but thay are unsure if they have the correct one listed and will charge us if it is wrong and need to return it.

Or does any know who I can ask?

Try http://www.ftooc.org, lots of FTO info there, it's gonna cost a pretty penny from a main dealer though!!

We have already posted the question on there, no help so far....

The main dealer has quoted £527 + vat, but as we are not paying the cost isn't my concern. My main concern is that they cannot guarantee it is the correct bumper and will charge us if it is not.

Try David, RiceRocket UK - pretty sure he is on here somewhere as a TT owner, he's a good guy and there isn't much he doesn't know or cannot source for the FTO.

Right ok then, as far as I am aware the bumper on the version R is the same as the bumper on all facelift fto's so as long as it is a post 97 bumper it should be ok.
