CJ
I am looking at registering a name for a business and in most situations, the .com and .co.uk names have already gone. What are peoples opinions of using the following: .net .org .biz .uk.com .gb.com
Bobbeh
I wouldnt use the bottom 2.. not excactly the easiest to remember. .biz addresses are relatively new compared to .com's etc And are you sure http://www.welsh-car-pimp.com is taken? SteveR
Is there really no other option for the business you have in mind Col? Is it possible to go for something catchy instead of something more specific/descriptive that is already taken, maybe? (Just pulling a random example from thin air). DamanC
Without wishing to enter into a diatribe, what makes you so sure of that? well its been echoed that anything that isnt a co.uk or .com is shit. A .net is a posibility but this should be your last resort tbh. its better to ajust or change the domain name so that you can have a co.uk or .com. .net .org .biz .uk.com .gb.com tend to be dismissed, over the more popular ones. However i use one on a regular basis.......here!
