kubus1 Posted March 27, 2004 Share Posted March 27, 2004 Hi, I have been tinking about installing Nitrous on my Supe for a long time. The time has come. I ve had it for good 2 months now so I think I can share my feelings with you. I know that the opinions about NOS are devided. Some say that it isnt real power, others say that its too FAST 2 F....etc,. All I can tell you that, even with the 75bhp shot the car feels comleteley different. Its like you're having the 3'rd turbo kicking in. I watched the movies with NOS and they showed the road bluring on the sides and stuff.... You dont get this feeling but you surley feel that your car never stops accelerating. You are here and.... few seconds later you're few hundred meters way. Cool, but have to watch out for other road users who don't realize how fast you're going. All I can say is, Don't be put off Nitrous by the stories of blown engines and bad expirences. Do you have a button on the dash to use it (a la F'n'F) or is the delivery integrated with the ECU so you drive the car as normal, but have more power? James. I ve got an On OFF switch next to the gear lever and once I turn it ON the NOS activates when at WOT. When you take your foot of its OFF.... Its much safer way then the hit button.
