UK Spec, Map or MAF sensor? had cruise control on 70mph, then car just went dead. wont rev over 2k rpm, doin 20mph on dual carrage way to get to work to dump it anyone got any idea's? hodge Posted September 4, 2006 Share Posted September 4, 2006 Ive had the same problem as you mate exactly those symtems. I changed all the coil pack connectors, plugs and checked all intercooler hoses and vacume pipes also reset the ecu. AntD Posted September 4, 2006 Share Posted September 4, 2006 I went BPU on Saturday.Just started enjoying all the power and then suddenly had exactly the same symptoms as yours.Have a look at your intercooler piping.One of the connections on mine got loose and the pipe blew off.As soon as I connected it everything was fine again:d Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
