KaoriFan
morning everyone I need a little bit of info, if you can help. i know there are things like netlimiter etc, to control active programs and what speeds you want d/l and u/l to take place. is there any utility or software that will allow you to see all open connections, the IP address, the speed each of the connections are getting. would like to be able to see where my b/w is going. normally it is typically 10% or more overhead on a connection, but my figures don't add up atm, with my active connections. i have done the usual tests through gibson (grc), and everything seems ok. thanks in advance, Ian
jevansio
Dunno if this is any help but : netstat /a from the command prompt shows any TCP connections you have (doesn't show how much band width they're using though) A site such as Network Solutions can be used to lookup any IP Addresses to provide more meaningfull Domain Name information. May help in tracking down any connections that are being made that you know nothing about. Jay
