Yep - mine too. Which is why I want to see what filter it has. If it lacks a pollen filter, it will have a normal filter of some sort, question is where?

OT I know, but have you tried the desensitisation injections?

never heard of the desensitisation ones mate, ill have a look into it though! might get to enjoy a summer for a change!

No filter, pollen or otherwise. Checked this with the US Toyota suppliers, there is no P/N for them, so its not there.

I wonder where it draws air from though? If I found out, I could simply stuff a filter in, not a perfect solution, but would do the job.

Well, the whole unit thing is under the dash on the PS (remove glovebox etc), and, it has a nice bit of moulded plastic where on a Soarer, you have the cutout for the replaceable pollen filter. So, same unit without capability for pollen filter, sure you could cut the mould and stick a Soarer one in, but I am not too keen on trying it I have to admit.

Nah, I wouldn't improvise like this with inaccessible parts. If the car hasn't got a pollen filter, so be it.

I'm not allergic anyway, just making sure that there's no dirty, clogged filter sitting somewhere in the car since the day it left the factory...
