Steviekid
You sure bout that one...I thought that was called your Septum?? Edited again because I've realised I'm taking out of my arse! The philtrum is the groove running from the nose down to the lip. The nasal septum is the dividing portion between the nostrils, although a septum is a general term for a divide, eg. the cardiac septum divides the left and right heart chambers. Steviekid
3. Gutteral Pouch = something to do with chronic nasal discharge and throat irritation in horses. Yep. The gutteral pouches are found in the base of the skull near the larynx. They can become infected leading to either a nasal dicharge or occasionally a fatal haemorrhage if fungus erodes through the carotid artery.
