Robbo
My car is in for a full service on Tuesday and i have been told amongst other things to get the diff oil/ gear box oil changed. What type of oil will they need to use?
carl0s
I think Motul is liked by some people on here. Can't remember the grade but a search for just Motul should bring it up, or maybe "motul diff". I think any 75/90 grade will do though. Can't really remember. carl0s
Yup, it's in the FAQ. (FAQ forum, not the FAQ button at the top..) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56684 LSD Diff Oil Stock = Unknown 75w90 Gear Oil Capacity ~1.5L's (have 2L's Ready) 75w90 - Motul Gear 300 or Silkolene Syn5 I recommened either of the two listed - both have been used without issue. Interval = 2 Years / 30,000miles depending on use/power levels See here for details on changing diff oil.

Supe
I went for the Silkatran Syn 5 Diff oil from Opie oils, even the mechanic liked it . Forgot to mention, you will love the smell of Diff oil.
