i-macca
Due to a couple of idiots wasting my time, one from here who never got back to me despite asking me to wait for him, and another on eBay who wanted me to wait til he got back from holiday and then won't respond, my seats are back up for sale. They are on eBay here - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120020574036 - and I will end early for a reasonable offer, but not a stupid one. No fucking me about, I just want them out the way. By all means ask questions but please don't say you'll have them if you're going to mess me about asking me to drive half way across the country to deliver them and then disappear! toyotatom
I mean this in all seriuosness, would you think about splitting them up? I really only want one for the passenger side.
lockys96
really good for a re-trim
i-macca
I'd rather not Tom, they're very hard to sell in singles as most people want a pair for the car. If you can find somebody else who wants a single then I don't have a problem at all, obviously. Sorry
lockys96
why doesnt he buy both and sell one?
toyotatom
Because 'he' doesnt want to end up in the same boat with one spare one. Rather selfish attitude I know, but I asked, he say no How much for the pair out of curiosity?
lockys96
someone like yourself may fancy a one seat
i-macca
Lol.. at least you can see where I'm coming from. Or you can do what I did and have a Recaro SR desk chair, most comfy desk chair you're likely to have sat in http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/Recaro%20desk%20chair%202.jpg The reserve is set at £150 so anything above that. I think the last auction ended at £170.

Trig
Can you get subframes for these?
lockys96
think you can, im sure they are the same design as the standard recaro trim. just different cloth
Faye Brother
I'd be interested in the drivers side seat only, providing it would fit the subframe I have which was used to mount a Recaro Speed seat in a MKIV. Might be an obvious question, but don't know whether the Speed and the SR are the same seat or not!
i-macca
Yeh, I think Paul Whiffin does subframes for these? I know one of the traders does.. Proper Recaro ones are about £150 each though
i-macca
All the Recaro's I've seen from the factory have had the same mounts underneath. Only ones I've seen different are Ford Recaro's as they have them made with their own mountings. I think this is a Recaro Speed isn't it? - http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/Recaro%20desk%20chair.jpg
i-macca
And forgot to say, the seats are universal for side, they have winders and tilt handles on both sides..
Faye Brother
Not sure what model of Recaro that seat is in the last picture, but I don't think it's a Speed - well not the one I've been looking at anyway! http://www.recaro.com/fileadmin/pics/motorsport/products/big/Speed_PvR_NS.GIF If they're the same mounts underneath then I'll go for one of the seats if you're happy to split them. toyotatom
Already asked and thats a no-no mate.
Faye Brother
As I read it, the chap is happy to split if he can sell the seats separately. You only want one, I only want one - so it looks like everyone will be happy.
toyotatom
Just need to know about the subframes the seat will fit onto first.
i-macca
Lol Tom, as I said if two people want one each then I have no problem! Just as long as you both pay up and one doesn't change his/her mind!
