tbourner
Is anyone a member on a BMW forum that can post for me? Or know enough to answer: Mate's just bought a 98 R-reg 318ti, he says it's only got 4 seats but I'd have thought all 3 series would have 3 full seats in the back even the compact and/or coupes? Anyone know. BTW I tried to register on bimmerforums but the registration image wouldn't show so I couldn't complete - maybe my PC doesn't like BMWs . ardasaliah
I had a m5 that had 4 seats. The middle hand a permanant arm rest. take your mates word for it. Why would he lie?
tbourner
It's complicated and involves attention seeking, and possibly something to do with a trip he's going on, in which 4 other people are supposed to be going with him!
SarahJon
We had an E36 coupe before the Supra. That had 3 seats in the back.

Homer
The e36 does have 3 seats in the back (Well the centre one has a belt but you couldn't really call it a seat). They're always registered as a 4 seater car, same as most BM's, I don't know why...
