GazzaGSi Posted July 15, 2006 Share Posted July 15, 2006 Thinking of cmplaining to orange but the more i look at it, it is only a small 'hicup' but it isnt right so thought i'd ask you lot to get your opinion. Received my K800 yesterday and while going through the box I noticd there was no memory card, I thought fair enough I guess you have to buy one with this model. While reading the manual at work lastnight it says, insert you provided 512mb memory stick to save songs, vids, pics etc etc so I assumed they forgot to put it in the box. Phoned them this morning and they said it doesnt come with a memory stick, orange made a miss print in the manua as they 'copy and paste' alot from previous handset manuals. Should I complain saying that youve stated i should get one? Plus ive never seen them before, they are memory stick micro's. It is a VERY good phone though, cam s brill!! Call back and speak to someone else.. if the manufacturer says there is a memory card supplied, then there should be a memory card supplied... Orange 'brand' some of the documents supplied with the phone, but the package you bought should be what it says on the tin.... Sounds like a lazy operator to me... She said noend of people have been phoning in. Also, just checked their website: http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/handset/sony_ericsson_k800i/features and it doesnt mention it should come with a card.
