Sharpie
Well, there is a difference on the UK to the US car as there is no EGR Gas Temp Sensor or the EGR Temp Sensor connector on the UK car. US car shown here: http://www.mohdparts.com/egr_mods/defeat/index.html So, there is no need for a resistor on this mod. A great saving of 10p I'll confirm that everything is as it should be once the car is back together. Engine goes in next week :flame Dev
Sharpie
You can see here where the EGR Temp Sensor should connect - No hole! Also ringed is where the 2nd bottom EGR plate location is as the pic's on the above site are not so clear.

Chris Wilson
I have made my blanking plates as universal. There is a hole for the sensor, but it's blanked off with a plug. So it fits UK cars, or, with the plug unscrewed, US ones too.
Sharpie
Hi Chris, So, are you saying that your plates are along the lines of this one ? It has a bolt/screw in the top plate which could be used to insert the Temp Sensor for the US cars. I think I know where my plates have come from now
Wipeout
Hijack Is it possible to use the bung bit as another boost pressure point? Or would there be any benefit for fitting a temp sensor to monitor intake temps.
