Grip levels are poor anyway. What dial settings were you using?

Looks like we need to develop some dat settings to tame that for you.

Termmy dude

Its a waste of time at the moment trying to put power down in 1st gear , the RL is cutting in all the time as the moment you touch the throttle the car is making boost !!!!!!

Im gonna go and find some of that 'suregrip' they put down at junctions and practise a few launches later on

i found it useless with all traction turned off. would just light up the tyres which is no good. at drag strip with rltc on 10 or 20% seemed to be best for me. my dat file is still the same one that came from racelogic.

if i was getting another tc i would go with 4k stall its not as bad as people make out for street driving.

also have never tried holding car on handbrake "e braking"

if you hold it on power braking at too high revs you get that wheel hop. think the handbrake might help with that and launch better. but will be hard on the gearbox

Also as Matt said on kickdown i pressume ur on medium boost straight away?

Any fitted prices yet?

i have seen them from 3200 to 4000 stall speeds. you can get bigger but not sure if they for supra, can you imagine how long box will last with a 5k stall speed. you can nearly launch on full boost, if you can get traction you should fly. would think with dragradials should help loads

The one i was told to get was way over 4000 , im not going to mention any stalls etc , if you wanna experiment yourselves it gets very expensive , anyone interested can PM me and is more than welcome to a test drive in my car !!! i'll give em a demo and then they can have a go to get the feel of it , judging on their reaction i will then be happy to supply a converter they can get on with , i may well buy a much looser one for drag racing , i'll make up my mind when ive logged some 60 ft times
