terawua
I know this has probably been asked several times before, but does anyone know of a site which can teell me what the largest size 19" wheel I can get intot he arches without comepletely chopping them up is.. ie largest size unrolled arches, and rolled arches. I fancy a set of ulti-piece racing hart c4's - anyone know of a good place to purchase? James
LeeT
for racing harts it has to be envy. gaz will also be able to recommend the sizes you need as well HTH ...lee
Thorin
295's are the widest you could go without problems I believe, as long as you get the offsets right anyway.
terawua
yeah was just looking at envy, but why 2 grand for a set in the uk when its only about 1200-1300 in the USA (might be even better from Japan) I know you have to take taxes into account, but it seems a lot of wonga. Oh yeah.. anyone know how much they C4's weigh.. would like to decrease the unsprung mass if possible. James
CJ
The big difference in price relates to the shipping. I dont know if you have asked, but I think you will find that the cost of the shipping can sometimes be more than the cost of buying the wheels. Then, as you rightly say, you have to pay import duty and VAT.

All our Hart wheels fit UK brakes too. And TRUST ME you wont get them for £1300. The list price in the US is: $3102 = £2011 Now the maximum discount Racing Hart US gives is 15%, so if a dealer gives you them for cost (unlikely) then: £1750 OK? Now you have your shipping which at the very cheapest £260 per set, sea shipped (much longer delivery as its made in Japan then shipped to US, then sent to you. Ours come direct from the factory). £2100 OK? Now when they arrive in the UK there is no getting round the fact that 4 big boxes with big shiney wheels in cost nothing... 22.5% tax. £2572.50 for the full amount - plus all the costs from the airport (heathrow probably) that'll be another hundred easy. So now does our price of £1900 seem reasonable, since they are on your doorstep in 30 days, you don't have to call the US or Japan blah blah? Gaz. Supraguy
Nice for a great summary Gaz. Unnecessary, but very kind of you to break it down. I bought my Racing Hart CRs because I couldnt even get as good of a deal in the States than I did with Envy. Fucked up exchange rate and everything. Couldnt be happier with my wheels! terawua
Sorry Gaz, I suppose it must be a little wearing having us all digging at your prices.... I too liked the breakdown, and dont worry, I am still giving you top priority for a purchase if and when I go ahead.. just like to have things justfied for me! While we are at it then... the price of 2000 pounds is for 19", with 9 on front and 10 on back (Hmmmm daydreaming) is that right? James

James James, I wasn't being defensive, I was just trying to put it down how it is, so hopefully you wont find out the hard way. Its £1900 for a set of Supra 19s. Gaz. terawua
Gaz, I see you do tyres as well, if you can do a deal with wheels and tyres, then we should talk. Drop me an email. Regarding the offsets, do the 10 inch rears require any arch rolling? James p.s. had better stop posting in here as it has gone beyond the realms of technical discussion. Guest Terry S
You can fit 11's to the rear of a Supra. Go to Supra forums, the MKIV Technical and look at Steve Jarvis' wheel fitment spread sheet. It will give you all the offset options with & without bodywork mods. Paul Whiffin also gets some very good deals on wheels.
