Scoboblio
Did a bit of shopping tonight in M&S in preperation for my night shift. I wanted a pint of milk, and without paying much attention I picked up their new "Fresh whole Omega-3 Milk" Which is packaged exactly the same as the proper stuff. In the name of all things holy, WTF have they unleashed. I took a big swig before realising, and it honestly tasted like it had been mixed with glue, urine and rotten fish. It is without doubt (and colleagues agree) the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. Pissed? You could say that. Who in their right mind would drink this filth? I'm hoping this is a one off contaminated bottle otherwise I've got a good mind to take it back in the morning and ask the manager if anyone in the store could bare to drink half a pint of it. Total and utter bilge. How can you mess up a pint of milk FFS? It comes out of the cow and goes into a bottle - job's a goodun. I'm off to projectile vomit now.... maybe I'll even make it to the front of M&S before I do.
Mike
I thought the whole idea of it was that it tasted the same as normal milk?

Scoboblio
I thought the whole idea of it was that it tasted the same as normal milk? I seriously hope you're right, and this bottle has simply gone off, because this stuff is evil. I tried flicking holy water at it and screaming "the power of Christ commands you" but it still tasted f***ing awful.
Nick
So what's supposed to be different between Omega-3 milk and normal milk then (other than the taste in this case) ?
Scoboblio
They add oils that you'd usually find in fish because it's good for you. I'm thinking that the pint I had earlier had something wrong with it, because there's absolutely no way that anyone could drink it. It doesn't taste off or sour, just jaw droppingly horrible. andrew7
Basically they have added Cod Liver Oil. And you know how quickly fish goes off if ti is not looked after properly. Plus the fact that there is now conclusive scientific proof that Omega 3 is not as good (or essential) for you as they were saying it was.... Nick
Fish oil in milk? I can't see how that will ever taste ok, but by the sounds of it there's something dodgy with your pint !

Charlotte
You can take Omega 3 vitamins with no taste so I'm sure it's not deliberate. Sounds like your milk was off.
carl0s
I have tried Boots Strawberry flavoured fish oil syrup - awful. The EyeQ stuff isn't so great either. The best is just buy the large gelcaps from Holland and Barett. I was doing 5 grams a day for a while. It's supposed to be fish oils, but not fish 'liver' oils. Meant to be good for your brain. Didn't do much for me. I have bags full of other 'smart drugs' and they did diddly squat either. Anyone want some centrophenoxine or piracetam or that russian ghb-like shit? bags full of it left
