sarjo
Not really technical but it bloody is to me Ok, my horn has never worked since I've had the car. I have now started to fit Ring twin air horns. I've found the old horn and looked at the wiring and connectors, but nothing seems to be where it should. So I have taken this out and fitted my twins there. I have wired it all up through the relay but now need to take a cable from the front of the car, through the bulkhead and upto the steering wheel. On my hands and knees looking for a way through - now feel sick and feel like bringing my dinner back - half my dash removed trying to find a ray of light So - wheres the easiest point to get a 1mm cable through??? Please???
Kranz
On the bulkhead just behind the turbo. It passes through just where the air vent is next to the clock (o where it used to be!). Its to the right of the brake booster. Has lots of wires passing through and a single wire should easily be able to slip in. Edit: Where the finger is pointing! Kranz
No, you can take the top of the instrument cluster support off (4 screws) that has the hazzard warning light in (pic 62) Then take the gear surround trim off (pic 63) Finally the left side of the dash trim up to the speedo (pic 64). Its all dead easy and unclips, then connectors off and it all comes away. 10 Mins.
Kranz
P.s. excuse the pointy finger but its pi*s poor pic quality The wire can be pulled through the grommet on the bulkhead just above and behind the air vent.

Kranz
tape the wire to an un bent coat hanger to push through the gromet I was going to say that! A modification of this is to bend the end of straight piece of coat hanger over on itself about 1" from the end and trap the wire in this, then tape it to the coat hanger. it will get through anything
