DamanC
Slightly techy question. Im after an App that will run around a network and report back all the network printers that it finds. Ideally with a nice report at the end. AngryIP scanner almost does the job but comes back with a hostname (usally not telling the difference between a PC and a printer) and not a nice printer name. 1stNetScanner is simply bobbins! Anyting out there?
Ark
Tried looking at SuperScan? It's not perfect, but gets IP port headers so you can have a damn good guess whether it's a printer or not. Or use an SNMP scanner...most printers have SNMP switched on by default, and no one can be bothered to configure them otherwise.

Thorin
To display a random message... hphack.exe "random" Or just... hphack.exe "whatever message you want" Has to be 16 characters or less. Included the source so you can change it or just to see what the random phrases are. I set this up as a scheduled task every morning, freaked people out and they'd walk past the printer every morning to see what the message was
