smithaldo Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 So, for all those that are following the World Cup you'll know that the French Striker Djibil Cisse broke his right leg yesterday in a World Cup warm up friendly with China. After breaking his left leg playing for Liverpool last year seems he must be one of the unluckiest players in football. Anyway, I haven't included the image as some people may find it disturbing but if you want to take a peek then do so HERE Good luck to bloke and fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Rayman Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 Yeh his first break for liverpool was terrible too, similar photo to that with half his leg going one way the rest staying where it is. Happened in a similar way too, Cisse holding the ball up and gets a kick to the back of the leg whilst it was his standing leg. Terribly unlucky, hope it doesnt affect his career even if he is a bit of a hothead. Anyone remember a player by the name of Bust, cant remember his first name think it was david, it was the worst broken leg i have ever seen, i remember seeing the photo in the paper, it was so bad, much worse than the Cisse photo above,that ended his career! That was horrific and probably the first time a break like that was captured on camera so the shock factor was higher. Feel really sorry for Cisse he must feel like wrapping it all in after this one.
