carl0s
11psi from no1 is surely out of its efficiency range When I put my foot down, I start to see 8psi at about 3,000rpm, and easily see 10.4psi by 3500. Yesterday I noticed nearly 12psi at about 3500rpm. I don't feel the surge of no2 come online for at least a few more hundred rpms, say 3900. So, unless this is coming from both turbos, and the fact that I don't feel the no2 surge doesn't mean it's not boosting.. well unless that's the case, then surely my no1 is going a bit too far. Is this normal? I run a bleeder valve from the VSV to the wastegate actuator. I see 17.1psi max normally.
Lucifer
We usually run 0.8 Bar on ours at BPU., but dont forget ithis is at 2-3500 RPM so its doesnt flow much air compared to 7000 rpm. Also dont forget no2 could be opening by 3500rpm very slightly.
Suprasteve
what gear are you in when you get those results? In sixth gear between 2K & 4K rpm i see around 0.8 bar = about 12 psi. BTW I'm BPU. I used to have a bleed value, they are very hit and miss so i got an electronic boost controller.
carl0s
I'm auto, second gear, foot hard down but not hard enough to kick-down to first. It's interesting to know that you guys run similar. It just surprised me because 0.8 bar (can't we all just stick to psi? ) is pretty much stock full boost for both turbos.
