Jezz
Ok, my cars been sat for a while to due having a trd kit fitted. I went to move it the other day and the main 120amp fuse blew as i cranked it???? So i replaced the fuse and now it runs like a sack of crap! Lumpy idle IF it starts, revs slowly up to 4k then pops and bangs like a biatch and wont rev over 5k. Error is showing code 31, changed ecu, still does the same. HELP?!

Ian C
Well, hmmm, what more do you want to know, you've got a problem with your air flow meter OK, if this circuit is problematic the engine won't know how much air is coming in so it'll probably fuel for atmospheric which is waaay too much fuel at idle, hence the issues you have in starting it and it's popping, banging, rough running and lack of power. Question is - why did it blow the 120amp fuse! -Ian
LeeT
isnt it a jap spec? so wont have air flow meter unless its a vvti?
Jezz
Thats right lee. J-spec, so no airflow meter. I think the 120 amp fuse blew cos i have a starter motor problem.

Be nice if the bloody thing ran right before i undertake the conversion.
LeeT
its obviously over fuelling so were any of the intercooler pipes disconnected when the bumper and wings were fitted?
