To paint the rear hatch we can do it for £80 plus the vat. that includes baking it too.

This would be done by our Toyota bodyshop under our contract with them. All paint is matched to the colour of the car including any aging colours.

Full resprays also quotable.

Prices do seem to vary quite considerably on a respray.

I personally wouldn't have respray unless the windows were all out, the skirts etc were all removed, handles and aerial off, doors and boot hatch off, etc.

I'm surprised to see so many resprays done with basic things like sideskirts in place!?

That's what I call a complete respray.

Am I just too picky or something?

FI you take out the 2 main screens it is 2 hours to put them back in and £90 in seals.

When paying that kind of money for a respray an extra couple of hundred for "the perfect finish" is neither here nor there IMHO.

The front screen really doesn't need to come out as you can just remove the outer seal and paint right to the edge.

Ah - so the screen can stay in with the rubber removed - cool. I understand it's knackared once removed. Same for the rear?

I'm interested as I'm thinking respray for next year you see. Plenty of time for homework and to view examples.

Cheers guys.
