Guest jazraymcbeath
BPU what does it stand for. So all you need for nearly 400bhp is plugs/fcd/remove cats/restictor ring. How many cats does the supra have. How many lamba sensors on the car. How is the boost controlled on a standard car is controlled by an amil valve my the ecu. Can an apexi boost controller be used for the sequential turbos and instead of the resticor ring as a boost controll method. If the car has a cat and a pre cat if both a removed does the engine managment light come on(if it has one).

wkdtime
its sunday mate, dont think you'll get many takers in answering all those questions lol, so ill be brief j Spec has 2 cats, when both a removed you will need a restrictor ring to keep boost down to 1.2bar or what ever u like, if you only remove one then you'll see 0.9 bar or above depending on your car you can use a boost controller to increase it to 1.2bar, Boost controller can not do what the restrictor ring, it can only increase boost, 1.2 bar then you can see anything from 370-420bhp respectively mate. Homer
BPU what does it stand for. Basic performance upgrade So all you need for nearly 400bhp is plugs/fcd/remove cats/restictor ring. Yes, for a jap car, edited to add - you will also need an aftermarket catback, but almost all cars will have one of these. Walbro fuel pump is also recommended. Also make sure the car is FULLY serviced, particularly the oils and fuel filter How many cats does the supra have. Two How many lamba sensors on the car. One for Jap, Two for UK cars How is the boost controlled on a standard car is controlled by an amil valve my the ecu. Its controlled by the wastegate Can an apexi boost controller be used for the sequential turbos and instead of the resticor ring as a boost controll method. Which Apexi unit do you refer to? A boost controller can only raise boost, not lower it. If you do not fit a restrictor ring on a Jap car the boost will run away to silly levels (1.5 bar), you need the restrictor ring to bring the level down to somthing reasonable. If the car has a cat and a pre cat if both a removed does the engine managment light come on(if it has one). Its has one but you will not get an error light All this info is in the FAQ sections, I posted the link in your first thread.
