He is overworked having to sort out his own car before returning to mine. We have got just about everything to finish mine so hopefully a few weeks! Have sat in the new seat (The one that matters to me ) and D. has centred it perfectly. It was a worry. Have bought the stereo which he is doing next week. Cant afford to make it look as nice as your cars ,so im gonna spray it satin black with polished wheels and maybe paint the letters on my tyres as i use to on my yamaha 350lc(cant make my mind up on the painted tyres yet) Ive striped it again to wrap exhaust and service my twin wastegates,also drill in an aem afr gauge. Cant believe how fast the single is now,ive owned a tuned rg 500 two stroke and this im sure is quicker!! Just got to get my charge air temps down then i will be happy. Take care D. darren j adams Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Tis a beastie,think its pushing 550ish at the hubs at the mo but cos its smallish turbo it spins first and second with ease 285/tryes . The problem i had next was the heat the engine is pushing,charge temps near 70deg,ive done a few thing to reduce now so next test should be fun. Its going satin black cos i cant afford the real paint job,the satin im gonna put on just to tidy it. Think everyone should go single,just dont go big. D. Whilst I'm a very open minded member, and wouldn't mind if he said the Pope was gay or old people should be shot etc, I have to draw the line at hinting that our beloved Supra's were anything other than the most glorious thing a human eye could dwell upon * Some words just never ought to be spoken. If you feel that you cannot remove the thread, can you at least put it in the NWS section as this may stop younger non-members from reading such distasteful things on here.
