Manual vs Auto

I test drove both the manual an the auto before i bought a soop, an i prefered the auto, so thats what i bought. Its not spongy, an dont lack response, so you must have drove a shitter Mark. Like the guys say though, everyone's differant mate.
mate they all the same press the loud peddle and wait for it to find right gear.all the auto guys know you want a manual.no way should a supra be a auto.auto`s are for jags.

yeah but i yearn for a manual.

 

mind you i have a 1.6 16valve escort (90ps) that i let my agression out on,riding on a crest of a wave of torque.the gears are precise and just right,feels faster than the supra going through the twisties on the way to work.with a auto you put in D and fall asleep driving it

do a conversion then, really is a piece of piss. dont know what all the fuss is about. done it over a weekend for just over a grand:D

LeeT, good to hear your findings mate. I don't think you can get a more accurate comparison than that, it being the exact same car in all other respects. There will always be die hard auto fans (don't ask me why) though, that's just the way it is.

 

Seriously recommend driving a manual though, really does work well as a j-spec car too, the responsiveness is second to none!
