Animal Posted May 10, 2006 Share Posted May 10, 2006 Why does everything have to happen at once? I got an audition drumming for a local rock band last week. We have a gig on the 20th, so I have 5 or 6 songs to learn. Luckily most of them are pretty straightforward so I'm not too worried. Still, not many days to rehearse and get to know the band properly, though. I'm moving back to Lancashire - just got a flat in Chorley sharing with a mate. £250 a month all-in with secure, enclosed, gated & padlocked parking. I can pick the keys up tonight. I've just been given some more work from a client I had when I was self-employed. He still has a job on-going that I started for him 5 years ago and he's happy to pay me pocket money. He needs this drawing by the 18th and I have to try & get my PC & A0 printer back from Cumbria. I'm supposed to be at a bike show in Cheshire this weekend. That's gone down the pan now 'cos of this work. In the mean time I'm still doing my day job in Manchester. My head is battered, I can't work out what I need to do first.
